AURA Global Cuisine

Originally from Lebanon, Jihad Hachicho, Owner and Proprietor of Aura Global Cuisine, has traveled the world sampling exquisite cuisine and has brought it here to Broadview Heights, Ohio for all to enjoy. Chef Jihad attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and has appeared at the Loretta Paganini School of Cooking in Chesterland, Ohio as an instructor. His culinary experience includes maintaining the position of Executive Chef at the Hilton Cleveland South as well as the Holiday Inn Cleveland West, both part of Wyndham International chain of quality hotels. He also held the position of Executive Chef at Sammy’s Restaurants, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio and has had the rare and exciting opportunity to be the Menu Consultant for another local restaurant. He also has developed a menu as an Executive Chef, which won the “Silver Spoon Award” for American Cuisine in 1995 & 1996 presented by Cleveland Magazine. He has also appeared in many top rated restaurants throughout the years including Arizona 206, a 3-star restaurant in New York City and Mad 61st, a 2-star restaurant.

Chef Jihad’s experience does not end with cooking and restaurants. He is also heavily involved with many community activities such as The Akron General Medical Center Women’s Board, Make-A-Wish Foundation, March of Dimes, Harvest for Hunger, Five Star Sensation, WVIZ, The Sudden Infant Death Foundation, as well as the Jewish Community Center. Through these experiences he has excelled and become one of the best that the hospitality industry has to offer.
